  • Inexpensive alternative to saline for treatment of wounds also works in a quarter of the time.
  • Minimises likelihood of infection by 10%
  • Prontosan helps by:
    • Minimising chronic inflammation and biofilm
  • Prontosan Irrigation Solution is a ready to use solution containing 0.1% Betaine and 0.1% Polyhexanide
    • Betaine is a gentle effective surfactant which is able to penetrate, disturb, clean and remove biofilm and wound debris.
    • Polyhexanide (PHMB) is a highly effective broad spectrum antimicrobial that is active against gram positive bacteria and yeast, including MRSA, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, VRE, Etc.
